For Outpatient

1. First visit (new patients)

(1) Referrals

 As a general rule, our hospital accepts referrals from medical clinics and other medical institutions. Before visiting the hospital, please obtain a letter of referral from the doctor at your current medical clinic or hospital.
*Patients without a letter of referral will be charged an extra non-referred new patient fee (7,000 yen.dentistry 5,000yen).

(2) Appointments

 Visits at this hospital are by appointment only. Please call the dedicated number below to make an appointment.

Hours: Weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. / Saturdays-9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
*Closed on Sundays, national holidays, and from December 29 to January 3.
*Hospital visits are by appointment only. However, emergency visits are accepted 24 hours a day. See "3. Emergency visit" for details.

(3) When you arrive

 Take a number card from the first floor reception desk (counter No.2). Fill in a medical treatment request form. When your number is called, bring your medical treatment request form, insurance card, letter of referral, and any other relevant documents to the reception desk.

(4) Examination

 After the procedure has been completed at reception, you will receive a folder containing your patient registration card, two reception slips, and any other necessary forms. Go to the reception counter of the medical department you have booked and submit the folder (keep one of the remaining reception slip as your personal copy).The current status for examinations is displayed on a monitor located in the waiting hall. When your turn arrives, you will be called by your number printed on your reception slip.

(5) Payments

 After finishing all examination procedures, bring the folder containing your patient registration card and other forms to the first floor accounting desk (counter No.6), where you will receive a waiting number.
 Once your fees have been calculated, your number will appear on the monitor at the accounting desk. When your number appears, pay your fees using the automated payment machines. You will receive a receipt and an appointment slip for your next appointment.

2. Follow-up visit (returning patients)

(1) When you arrive

 Before your appointment time, insert your patient registration card into the reception machine to check-in which is located near the main entrance, and then take the two reception slips and your patient registration card.
 Go to the reception counter of your medical department and hand in one of the reception slips and your patient registration card (keep the remaining reception slip as your personal copy).

(2) Examination and Payments

 The procedures for examinations and payments are the same as those for new patients.

3. Emergency Visits

 Hospital visits are by appointment only. However, emergency visits are accepted 24 hours a day.

(1) Medical departments available

Departments that provide after-hours/holiday service:
 Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, and Obstetrics & Gynecology
Departments that provide after-hours/holiday service with attending doctors rotating in shifts:
 Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, Urology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, and Rehabilitation

*If treatment with a specialized department is unavailable, you may receive a referral to another medical institution.
*As a general rule, only one day’s worth of medications can be prescribed. Patients only requiring prescriptions are not generally accepted for emergency visits.

(2) Please call before your visit

 Doctors may not be able to see you right away if they are busy with an emergency or critical patients. In addition, specialized doctors may not be present after hours or on holidays as they may be on call. Please phone before visiting to check if an examination is possible.
 If you may be infected by contagious diseases such as measles and chickenpox, please call before your visit to prevent from infecting other patients.
