Services

The Tokyo Metropolitan Cancer Detection Center is an institution specializing in cancer screening that offers a comprehensive range of services, from group screening to full screening, as well as human resource development for medical professionals, cancer research and screening awareness.

Cancer screening

Detailed examination

We provide Detailed Examination of stomach, large intestine, uterus, breast, respiratory organs, etc. for those who have undergone a group examination and need a detailed examination, those who have been referred by other medical institutions, and those who have subjective symptoms.
For those who need treatment, we will consult with you and refer you to a treatment facility.

Private medical examination
We provide self-funded examinations for those who wish to have personal cancer examinations, and specialized cancer examinations that are more precise than group examinations.

Training and educate

We provide training for those who perform cancer screening and treatment (physicians and medical technicians) to acquire knowledge and improve the skills.

Training of cytotechnologists
Cytotechnologists are specialists who perform cytodiagnosis under the guidance of physicians specializing in cytodiagnosis and are indispensable for the early detection of cancer.
We invite specialists in various medical fields as trainers to provide lectures and practical training to foster cytotechnologists with more advanced knowledge and skills.

Various training programs

We hold training sessions on "Introduction to Interpretation and Positioning" for radiologists and lectures for X-ray examiners for breast and gastric cancer.
We also accept doctors and medical technologists who wish to acquire professional skills for cancer at any time.

Further preparation and dissemination

We are doing awareness building activities to deepen the knowledge of cancer screening.

Lecture
We hold lectures on effective cancer screening for public officials involved in cancer screening projects.
We also dispatch our doctors as lecturers to lectures for residents.

Leaflets and books
We have produced a variety of leaflets called "Proper Knowledge of Cancer" for residents to help them correctly understand cancer screening.
We also produce books for medical professionals for improve screening techniques.

Research & Studies

We develop screening techniques that are highly accurate and less stressful on the patient.

We are also studying diagnostics and epidemiology using screening information.

And we are conduct surveys and research to improve screening accuracy, increase cancer screening rates, and followed up the 5-year survival rate of cancer patients.
