International Health Care Center(IHC)
In October 2025, our hospital established International Health Care Center provide more reassuring medical care to foreign patients in Shinjuku ward, where more both residents and visiting foreigners are increasing.
As a center with cross-departmental functions, all staff members become part of the “International Health Center,” with the “International Office” providing support to each department and division. We are working to create an environment where all foreign patients—both those residing in Japan and those visiting from overseas—can receive medical care with peace of mind.

1:On-site Medical Interpreters and Medical Coordinators
Medical interpreters and coordinators fluent in English assist foreign patients with their appointments (weekdays during daytime hours only). For languages other than English, we provide support using interpretation devices such as “Visible Interpretation” (supporting 13 languages), which enables face-to-face conversation with an interpreter via tablet, and “Pocketalk” (supporting 74 languages), a voice interpretation device.
2:Comprehensive Services to Bridge Linguistic and Cultural Gaps
International patients come from diverse linguistic, cultural, and medical backgrounds. Members of the newly established International Office, created alongside the opening of the International Health Care Center, will collaborate with specialized departments to bridge linguistic and cultural gaps.
<Consultation Process Flow>
