It is important that you work together with your family,doctor,and nurses to cure your disease.
From this point of view,Tokyo Metropolitan Hospital made the " Child Patient' s Bill of Rights"
(rules for hospital staff,your family,and yourself to follow in order to protect you) and we will follow these rules for you.
| 1 | You will receive the best medical treatment,just like everyone else ,for any disease you may have. |
| 2 | You will be respected as a person and will receive medical care under any situation，while working together with hospital staff and your family. |
| 3 | You will receive explanations about your disease or treatment by hospital staff using words and/ or pictures,so that you can understand. |
| 4 | You can express your thoughts or feelings to hospital staffs or your family when you receive full explanations about your disease or treatment. |
| 5 | You can ask or talk to your family or hospital staff whenever you have Questions or are worried. |
| 6 | You can spend your time with your family as much as possible during your stay at the hospital. |
| 7 | You can still study or play during your stay at the hospital. |
| 8 | When you are asked to take part in a research for the treatment for your disease or drug treatment,you can decide for yourself if you want to take part in the research after receiving a full explanation. You can stop participating in a research whenever you want to stop. You can ask or talk to your family or hospital staffs whenever you have Questions or are worried. |
| 9 | Please describe your body condition or feelings to hospital staff as much as possible，so that you can receive the right treatment. |
| 10 | Please follow the hospital rules，so that you and everyone can have a pleasant stay at the hospital. |
