Tokyo Metropolitan Hiroo Hospital Eases Visitor Restrictions

We have been temporary restricting visitors to our hospital to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Due to the recent circumstances, we are easing visitation restrictions,

beginning Monday, November 29, 2021.
<Visiting Hours>14:00 - 16:00 on Weekdays

No visitors are allowed on Weekends and Holidays.

Visitors must be the patient's family members or their equivalents.

All visitors are required to pre-signup for visitation. Any visitors without the pre-signup may not be allowed to see the patient.

One healthy visitor (15+) is allowed to see the patient once per week, for 15 minutes per time, per patient.

Visitation is allowed in inpatient wards only.

No eating or drinking is allowed for visitors in inpatient wards.

<How to Register for Visitation>

  • Upon arrival in the hospital, sign in at the reception desk on 1F and receive a visitor budge before you go up to inpatient wards. Visitors without the visitor budge are not permitted to see the patient. Before and after your visit, stop by at a nurse station and let a ward nurse know about your entering/leaving.
  • Take your body temperature at the hospital front entrance. Any visitors with a fever of 37.5℃ or over and the following symptoms are not permitted to see the patient. <Cough, Difficulty breathing, Sore throat, Runny/Stuffy nose, Diarrhea, Fatigue, Experiences of unusual smell and taste or other unusual health conditions>

*Visitors with any symptoms on "COVID-19 questionnaire" provided at the reception desk may not be allowed to see the patient.

All visitors must wear a facemask at all times and wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before entering the building.
