Youth and Adolescent Psychiatry

We provide care for people 15 to 25 years old with common mental disorders such as schizophrenia, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, as well as pervasive developmental disorder, personality disorder, abused children, long-standing school refusal and hikikomori. We aim to provide an accurate diagnosis and appropriate care.
We pay attention to how we deal with young people and the physical environment so that they will not experience the first psychiatric care as stigmatizing.
It is not unusual to experience mental illness during adolescence. The earlier you get clinical care, the sooner you will likely to recover.

Outpatient’s Clinic

First visit the General Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic. Based on psychiatric consultation that takes into account the age of the patient and various tests if necessary, we will provide diagnosis, treatment and support. Inpatient care in the adolescent ward or use of Day Care may be suggested when necessary. You can visit them in advance.

Hospital Care (Adolescent Ward, 40 beds)

Our Adolescent Ward provides short-term intensive care to young people with mental illness. We provide support to promote the earliest possible discharge. We accept emergency admissions as well as stay for assessment or respite. Various other kinds of stay are also available based on the needs of young people. Please contact us in advance.
