Emergency Outpatient Guide
For emergency outpatients
- Our hospital does not have interpreters for foreign languages. If possible, please come with a person who can speak Japanese.
- The emergency outpatient facility (Tokyo Metropolitan Bokutoh Hospital ER) handles medical treatment for emergency patients. This facility is not for general outpatient treatment. Treatment is mainly emergency treatment and as a general rule, medicine prescriptions will be for 1 day only.
- Doctors will do triage based on the patient's condition. Triage is used to decide treatment priority based on the severity and urgency of the patient’s condition. As a result of triage, patients with more severe and urgent conditions receive higher priority.
Please understand that the order of treatment is not based on the order of reception. - Be sure to call before visiting the hospital. (Phone: 03-3633-6151)
- Nighttime and holidays are very crowded so there may be a long wait.
- If more specialized treatment is required, we may introduce you to another medical facility.
- Depending on the availability of beds at our hospital, you may be transferred to a different medical facility after admission.
