Anesthesiology
Our department is responsible for anesthesia management during surgery, as well as for managing pain for inpatients and outpatients before and after surgery. Board-certified anesthesiologists from the Japanese Society of Anesthesiologists are always on site and maintain a system capable of responding to emergencies. We select the optimal anesthesia method for surgery based on the patient's lifestyle and quality of life (QOL). We collaborate with other departments to provide appropriate perioperative management, ensuring that elderly patients and those with severe complications can undergo surgery with peace of mind.
Since our hospital does not have pediatric or obstetric services, we generally do not perform surgery or anesthesia on children under 13 years of age or pregnant or postpartum women. In the perioperative outpatient clinic, we aim to accurately evaluate patients' conditions before surgery and obtain informed consent based on thorough information provision. We provide pain management services for inpatients and outpatients before and after surgery.
