Laboratory Medicine
Our department operates a 24-hour emergency testing system to meet regional healthcare needs. We strive to provide rapid and accurate test results. Our integrated laboratory testing department encompasses general testing, blood testing, biochemistry testing, and immunoserology testing. We analyze blood, urine, and other specimens using various devices and report emergency test results within 60 minutes. The Transfusion Laboratory Department uses fully automated testing equipment to ensure the safe administration of blood products 24/7. We conduct case reviews and share information through our Transfusion Therapy Committee six times a year. The pathology laboratory prepares specimens of collected tissues and cells, with full-time pathologists and cytotechnologists collaborating to provide accurate diagnoses. The physiological function testing unit performs cardiac, respiratory, neurological, ultrasound, and vascular examinations. Results are used for diagnosis and treatment evaluation. The Central Blood Collection Department is staffed by dedicated clinical laboratory technicians who safely perform blood draws and urine tests for an average of 150 patients per day.
