Respiratory Medicine
Our department primarily treats patients who experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, persistent cough, excessive sputum, or hemoptysis, as well as those with abnormalities detected on chest X-rays. We provide care for a wide range of conditions, including lung tumors, pulmonary infections, allergic and immune-mediated diseases, chronic lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and interstitial pneumonia, and sleep apnea syndrome. We offer a variety of respiratory examinations, such as pulmonary function tests, chest CT scans, bronchoscopy, and polysomnography. In addition, infectious disease specialists in our department provide outpatient care for HIV infection, syphilis, and other related conditions. We value each patient’s preferences, carefully determine the necessary examinations and treatment plans and proceed with care in close consultation with both patients and their families.
