1. Medical Treatment Details and Features

　General anesthesia is often required for pediatric surgery. Even general anesthesia or sedation is required for procedures and examinations involving pain and psychological stress. Our choice of the medical treatment is the safe systematic management during surgery and examinations, from low birth weight/premature infants to adult patients. We carry out not only breathing/circulation/pain management during surgery but also do perioperative management to minimize the preoperative/ intraoperative/postoperative mental and physical stresses such as preoperative anxiety and postoperative pain.

2. Main target diseases

1) Anesthetic management

• Our pediatric anesthesiologists perform anesthesia
• Our anesthesiologists also take care of the postoperative pain around the clock

2) Same-day surgery

• We actively perform same-day surgeries.

3) Outpatient Department of Anesthesiology

• We explain the risk of general anesthesia and other issues in details.
• We conduct medical interview and preoperative allergy evaluation.

At our hospital, as a rule, except in the case of emergency cares at ER we only accept patients based on a referral appointment system.
