1. Medical Treatment Details and Features
Our attending physicians for child development in the in-hospital inter-professional collaborative team (pediatric home medical care support team) are involved in helping pediatric patients, who have to remain hospitalized for a long period to receive advanced medical care so that they have the opportunities to feel relaxed and enjoy at home life. Our objective is to “support lives of children and families in the community” based on further expertise to meet the needs of patients and community in response to the rapid progress in the home medical care system and increased importance of the regional alliance together with proliferation and sophistication in pediatric home medical care.
2. Main target diseases
- Children in need of home ventilator, tracheotomy and advanced medical care.
- Children who need palliative medicine and nursing due to malignant tumor and severe congenital heart disease.
