1. Medical Treatment Details and Features
Our hospital is developing a dedicated pediatric emergency room (ER) that is rare in Japan. We provide medical treatments to any serious illness or injury 24 hours a day, 365 days a year if the patient is a child. Our hospital, with board-certified pediatricians (pediatric specialists) and emergency physicians (emergency medical care specialist), aspires to offer best emergency medical care for children in the community. Our emergency medical care system is designed not to overlook the seriously ill patients or patients in need of emergency medical care by employing triage (assessing the severity) for all the emergency patients, and priority is given to a system that does not miss out the urgent or critically ill patients. We operate an emergency transport team and doctor cars in collaboration with our intensive care department. We also actively engage in ambulance service/pre-hospital rescue operation. Furthermore, we aspire to get involved in resuscitation education/disaster medical care.
2. Main target diseases
We treat all urgent illness of any severity, whether intrinsic or exogenous.
